Annual Re-enrollment: What You Need to Know

Annual re-enrollment for the 2019/2020 academic year starts on February 11, 2019. Students and candidates enrolled at the CPA Western School of Business (CPAWSB or ‘the School’) are required to pay annual dues during a process referred to as annual re-enrollment. Below we share some tips.

CPA Professional Education Program (CPA PEP)

  • There are two parts to annual re-enrollment: (1) completing Annual Re-enrollment in the Program Management section of My CPA portal and (2) paying annual re-enrollment fees.
  • You need to complete the annual re-enrollment section in My CPA portal before you can see or register in any modules that start after April 1, 2019.
  • You must complete the annual re-enrollment process by March 31, 2019. You can pay re-enrollment fees immediately or defer payment until May 31, 2019 (though only if you complete the annual re-enrollment process before March 31, 2019).
  • Wait list fees for late registrations in the May modules will not be waived if you fail to complete annual re-enrollment before module registration closes on March 18. So, if you usually wait until the last minute to complete module registration, set yourself a reminder for March 1 to avoid missing the deadline and having to pay late fees.
  • In addition to completing annual re-enrollment, if you are registering for:
    • Capstone 1, you must also enter your DiSC score on the Capstone tab of the Contact Information page of My CPA portal.
    • Capstone 2, you must also enter your Declared Elective on the Capstone tab of the Contact Information page of My CPA portal.
  • Enrollment for Capstone 1, core and elective modules is available between February 11 and March 18.

CPA preparatory courses

  • There are two parts to annual re-enrollment: (1) completing Annual Re-enrollment in the Program Management section of My CPA portal and (2) paying annual re-enrollment fees. 
  • Annual re-enrollment starts on February 11, 2019, and you should have received an email message with specific instructions.  
  • You can pay student membership fees immediately or until March 31, 2019.  
  • If you do not complete annual re-enrollment before May 31, 2019, your enrollment as a CPAWSB student will be suspended. If you want to take another course on or after April 1, 2020, you will need to complete another transcript assessment before you can register. 
  • If you are planning to apply for the May 2019 intake of CPA PEP, complete annual re-enrollment for CPA preparatory courses first.
